The new Care for Life Apprenticeship from Northumberland County Council is for anyone over the age of 16 who wants to get into a career in caring. You’ll get hands on experience, a wage, and training while you work. There are opportunities across the whole county. We have 30 places available this year, and 92% of our apprentices go on to full time work or further training.

These free events will tell you about all the amazing opportunities in care offered by Northumberland County Council, especially our new Adult Social Care Apprenticeship.

Drop in any time during the day to speak to staff, but there will be talks from people in the profession at 11:00 and at 2:00 so attend those if you want to know more. We’ll have a selection of care workers, managers, and senior staff to help you understand the application process and what the work actually involves. Don’t miss the opportunity to ask questions, and to find out if care is for you.
